Elder Abuse: Elderly Dementia Patient Left At Wrong Location

A lawsuit has been filed in San Francisco on behalf of an elderly dementia patient against a transport company that left him at a wrong location.  The man was missing for ten days and found dead.

There was a three hour delay in notifying the family.  By the time the family was notified, it was dark and stormy making search conditions extremely difficult.

The lawsuit states that the patient required special attention and the transport company failed to insure a safe delivery to his home.  The lawsuit alleges that the patient suffered a horrible death because he was left to wander for days without food or shelter.  He was found in a path near a VA hospital.
